Indications:
Oral: Adults and children above 12 years : 10 ml 3 times daily, or as prescribed.
Children 6-12 years : 5 ml 3 times daily, or as prescribed.
KEP-X DROP:
< 1 yr.: As recommended by paediatrician
< 1 – 2 yrs.: 20 Drops T.I.D.
< 2 – 3 yrs.: 30 Drops T.I.D
Indications: Cough associated with bronchitis, bronchial asthma, emphysema and other bronchopulmonary disorders where bronchospasm, mucous plugging and problems of expectoration co-exist.
Adverse events: Usually mild. headache, nausea, mouth and throat irritation, tonic cramp, fatigue and palpitations.
Contra-indications: Hypersensitivity to any of the component of the formulation.
Precautions: Used with caution in patients with myocardial insufficiency thyrotoxicosis, diabetes and peptic ulcers.
