Otitis media DOSAGE: Adult dose: 1 Tab. (KEPODIL CV-200) 2 times in a day for 5-10 days.
Paediatric dose: 8-10mg / kg / day in two divided doses on the basis of Cefpodoxime content.
SAFETY PROFILE: Pregnancy : Can be given. Lactation : Given with caution. Geriatrics : Can be given safely.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity reactions to penicillin, cephalosporins and other beta-lactam antibiotics, beta-lactamase inhibitors or any excipient used in the formulations. Precautions: Caution advised in patients receiving diuretics concurrently.
Adverse effects: Diarrheoa, nausea, vaginal fungal infections, vomiting, headache.
